Check your firmware version on your wireless card.  This command should find it:
dmesg &#124;grep &quot;Loading firmware version&quot;

If you&#039;re using b43-fwcutter it shouldn&#039;t be an issue, but there were older versions of the firmware with bugs that caused transmission errors.</description>

		<description>I have a similar problem with hardy. I installed my wireless driver from the restricted drivers, and, once in a while, my wpa2 conection drops. In unprotected wireless networks, i have not this problem.
The error in my /var/log/kern.log is
b43-phy0 ERROR: PHY transmission error</description>
